Episode 4: Conflict Resolution
Greetings, everyone! In this week's video, I was planning on continuing talking about the 5 P's by getting into "positivity" a bit. However, there was a sort-of-conflict that I was apart of recently that the 5 P's really helped me get through very very successfully. So I decided to talk about the circumstances of that conflict and how it was managed by holding on to the things that I was in control of: my patience, my sense of perspective, my positivity, my perseverance, and
Episode 3: Perspective
Good evening, friends :) In the video below, I share some of my thoughts about what it means to have a "Perspective" on something. As I went through anger, depression, among other up-hill battles after the motorcycle accident, I've had to make serious adjustments to the way that I interpret the things around me. I look at an example that involves my re-introduction to running after years of my weak shoulder becoming dislocated constantly. There's light at the end of the tunne
Happy Friday! (2 videos)
Hello everyone! First off, I super appreciate all of you that have been checking out this website and that have been interacting with my last couple of posts. I've got another video in the works right now to be released Dec. 23 talking about "Perspective", but for now I wanted to share some other stuff with you. Patience and Episode 2
Hello hello! I'm really excited to be sending out this video about the necessity of Patience. Allowing myself to be more patient has freed me from a lot of stress that I used to weigh myself down with--when it came to needing to do things more slowly with one hand after my spinal cord injury. Please give this video a view and let me know what your thoughts are on patience. :) By the way I still haven't figured out yet how to change the display frame for the youtube videos tha
Invites are out!
I'm really excited to have the website [mostly] edited and ready to go. I just started inviting facebook friends to the facebook group page that I put together, so hopefully that gains some popularity and brings people here. One thing that I'm really looking forward to is the communication between me and others who are interested in my cause, and being able to help them more and more over time as I release more content. Speaking of released content, I know that technically 1

Website progression coming along really nicely
I'm pretty damn excited about the coming-together of the website, the video editing, the youtube channel, and everything linking up mostly correctly at this point. Just a couple more things left to go on the website and I can start quality testing everything on friends and family! I'm looking forward to the next video and to getting the ball rolling on the release of content. Right now I've got 19 motivational video episodes brainstormed-out, which also feels nice since produ
Intro and Episode 1
Okay first of all...it needs to be said--white elephant in the room--my face looks horrible AND horrified in the default frame of this youtube video. Holy crap. I look like I have a really bad attitude, totally countering the intended positivity of this video. I look like I just discovered that someone took a shit on my desk. :) It seems that I need to just figure out how to change that default frame. Whew. Okay great. Now that that's out of the way... Alright so my way of t
